Looks like Google is going to do a major redesign of Google maps, as you can see a peek has already been swiped threw the Internet, so? Google map blog reports that in addition with a full screen map, Google will also add a feature that lets you keep search results to places recommended by people in your Google+ circle. So if your friends on Google + like that nice restaurant that gives out free
bread sticks, yep, Google would recommend you to visit.
Although its not official on its release date or if this is the last changes to implemented on the maps, one thing you can notice right away is the yellow street roads are no longer yellow but white, some say its harder to pinpoint the streets but lets see if Google can give us users a switch were we can put back the yellow roads or other colorful features.
One even mentions that its very similar to ISO maps that are available in iPhone/Pads. Who knows….what do you think? When will we see the new UI? It’s not clear, but Google I/O is next week.
Now I’m getting excited…wonder if Google can recommend me a business were they give me free $.
