An Elkhart graffiti artist who left his signature turtle spray painted across the city is now behind bars.
The Elkhart Police Department said there’s over sixty cases where a turtle was painted or drawn on various businesses and homes throughout the city.A detective working the cases and recently developed a suspect, 20 year-old Ryan Larson, in at least some of the cases. The detectivereferred 9 of the cases to the Prosecutor’s Office for review and was able to obtain an arrest warrant for the suspect. At approximately 1:00 a.m. Friday Larson was stopped for an unrelated incident while walking on the north side of Elkhart, he was arrested at that time.
During his initial appearance in City Court, Larson became belligerent and was ordered removed from the court by the judge. The court ordered a bond set at $10,000.
The city is also looking into the possibility of recouping the costs incurred for the clean up of the cases that Larson has been linked to.

Now I dont really mind if a good artist did some inspiring graffity around my area but just doing stupid turtles which is probrally are gang related is totally NOT COOL and fucking anoying when i go accross one. Even a child can paint a turtle.
So “if you want to do graffity, please do it as an artist and make it GOOD!!!”
